As an intern, I was thrown into the deep end, working on a game with a big scope with a small powerful team.
Being the only sound designer I had to figure things out for myself. I was working in an engine I didn’t have much experience with, and implementing everything with no middleware.
Me being me, I enjoy a challenge, because challenging things is what helps me grow.
Masters Minions was a collaborative project developed in partnership with The Game Assembly school.
I led a small but dedicated audio team along with a talented composer, carefully organizing their tasks, creating a detailed sound list, setting clear and manageable deadlines, and providing constructive and helpful feedback throughout the process to ensure that every aspect of the work was completed efficiently and on schedule.
I utilized Wwise to implement all sound effects, developing interactive audio systems that dynamically responded to character choices to enhance player immersion.
A Light Snack was a fun little silly game created during a 2 day Ludum Dare game jam.
I went there not knowing anybody and got to know two wonderful people that invited me into their team to sound design.
It was a fun experience and since then I have been looking for more game jams to attend.
